University of Sinú strengthens its international projection with an academic mission in France
The University of Sinú is advancing its internationalization process with an academic mission to France from March 2nd to 6th, led by its rector, Rolando Bechara Castilla. This strategic agenda aims to consolidate alliances with leading European institutions, strengthening academic and scientific cooperation, as well as expanding opportunities for mobility, research, and dual degrees for students and faculty.
During his visit, the rector will hold meetings with directors of the Sorbonne University, the University of Poitiers and the University of Lorraineamong other renowned academic institutions. These meetings aim to establish agreements that promote collaborative work in strategic areas such as Law, Humanities, and interdisciplinary research.
One of the central aims of the mission is to promote institutional participation in the program Erasmus+especially through the Jean Monnet Chairs, which are aimed at strengthening teaching and research in European studies. Opportunities for scientific cooperation are also being explored through the program Echoes of the North, which promotes joint projects between France and Colombia.
The mission also aims to advance international dual degree programs, allowing students to access training recognized in Europe. This strategy will broaden their professional profiles and strengthen their competitiveness in an increasingly demanding global environment.
With this initiative, the University of Sinú reaffirms its commitment to academic excellence and the development of international knowledge networks.
