IV Symposium of Clinical Neurology: "Neurological Emergencies"

In the Saray Castilla de Bechara auditorium of the Universidad del Sinú, Cartagena Section, the IV Symposium on Clinical Neurology – Neurological Emergencies was held, organized by the neurology program of our institution and whose main objective was to delve into the pathologies that affect patients who come to the emergency services in the field of Neuroscience.

During the event, topics were updated according to the latest management guidelines and research protocols and practical cases were discussed in the forums that were generated during the sessions that lasted more than 10 hours, in which the attendees interacted with the group. of experts.

The symposium was attended by specialists recognized for their high academic level and professional career at a national and international level, who are references in each topic discussed, as well as neurologists graduated from our university, who led each of the presentations at the event. Likewise, various health professionals such as doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, related professionals and internship students attended.

Dr. Edgard Castillo, coordinator of the specialty of clinical neurology and the postgraduate management, extend the invitation for the V Neurology Symposium to be held next year and where the main theme will be epilepsy, one of the neurological disorders more complex and that can sometimes be difficult to diagnose for health professionals.
