Within the framework of the celebration of the International Dance Day, the department of humanities with the accompaniment of the Cartagena District Folklore Association, held at the facilities of the University of Sinú, Cartagena Section, the discussion "Challenges to Face the Future" , a space for cultural socialization, where the possibilities and challenges of dance in the city of Cartagena were made visible.

This conversation was attended by special guests, who together with a moderator led the day contextualizing the theme and generating questions that revolved around the ways of socializing art in the city, the cultural and identity references adjacent to history, including the processes of training, research, creation and transformation of dance in our environment, specifically in the Caribbean region.

Our university is an institution committed to strengthening the culture of our territory, so it is important to generate these spaces for pedagogical discussion, interacting in this case with the dance guild of the district of Cartagena, where new challenges and challenges are addressed. that dance faces in the development, not only of the country, but of the world.

The Unisinuana community and other attendees immersed in the topic, managed to interact openly with the invited speakers, recognizing the advantages of promoting cultural and artistic spaces for the growth and formation of the being, getting involved in a significant way with art and recognizing that dance it is a structured language that builds society.
