Unisinú welcomes its new undergraduate students
The campus of the Santillana headquarters of the Universidad del Sinú, Cartagena section and the union of all its faculties, welcomed the first semester students of the second academic period of 2022 to the Unisinua family with the induction day carried out by the Academic Management and University Welfare.
The day included the participation of special guests in which, through their transformative experiences, they sent a message of encouragement and encouragement to the students to start their professional training, cultural exhibitions and the delivery of the “Saray Castilla de Bechara” scholarship to the students with the best academic averages of the first period of 2022, thus highlighting their commitment and dedication to our institution.
María Cancio, a first-semester student at the School of Medicine, stated that “It was a wonderful experience, where I was able to learn all the history of my university. I have very high expectations with my career and that we all really like what we are doing, before I studied at the university in the Transition Course to University (CTU) program and going back to meet my friends is exciting”.
The University of Sinú considers that the induction process is of vital importance because it helps to familiarize the new student with the environment, his classmates, the Unisinuana culture, institutional values, main directors, academic history and the management of the different institutional platforms for their training process.
During this period, students are expected to develop their intellectual, social, and human capacities that allow them to function in their daily lives, in order to work hard to strengthen ethical and moral principles inspired by our founder.
