As part of the closing of the 5th Agroindustrial + Agroindustry, better country conference, “A necessary commitment”, on July 19 at the facilities of the University of Sucre, a working group was held, in which the directors of the Agroindustrial Engineering programs participated, from the University of Sinú Cartagena Section, the San Buenaventura University of Cartagena, the Pontifical Bolivarian University Montería Section, University of Sucre and the Popular University of Cesar. 

The purpose of this meeting was the creation of the Caribbean Network of Agroindustrial Engineering programs, seeking to generate alliances and strategies that strengthen academia, research, social projection and extension and other elements that allow the positioning of Agroindustry in the national territory.
