UniSinú Diversa, Live Inclusion

Last Thursday, May 4th, the first inter-institutional meeting "Live the Inclusion, UniSinú Diversa" was held, which took place in the Saray Castilla de Bechara auditorium of the University of Sinú, Cartagena branch.
The meeting was organized by the University Welfare Department and included the participation of Father Yamil Martinez, Chaplain of the University of Sinú; Dr. Dilia Mejía Rodriguez, professor at the Higher Normal School of the Montes de María; Dr. Isabel Cristina Lara, Director of the El Rosario Foundation; and representatives from the District Institute of Sports and Recreation (IDER). Also present were Ediana Jimenez Carvajal, a monitor of healthy habits and lifestyles, and Eblin Clarett Castellon Herrera, a physiotherapist, who shared their experiences, reflections, and strategies for promoting inclusion and social participation in their respective organizations.
It is of great importance to our institution that students develop their abilities without any barriers, since it is based on the principle that all equality must be comprehensive, generating dialogue and participation; accepting others should lead us to respect and value their differences, therefore we seek to contribute significantly to the strengthening of an inclusive culture, highlighting the importance of diversity within each of the social, political, cultural and academic spheres.
