Closing of the Medicine program accreditation visit

“I ask God to fill us with blessings, wisdom, protection, temperance and humility as we pass this important step in the consolidation of our Alma Mater Universidad del Sinú, at the service of Cartagena society, the Caribbean Region and our Country in General.

The challenge of the academic community, especially the one assumed by the Faculty of Health Sciences, School of Medicine, is a clear example of the Institutional commitment, which shows that the dreams of being a high-quality University come true.

For this reason I would like to praise the assumed leadership and evident tenacity of the Self-Assessment and Quality Assurance structure developed by Dr. Vilma Vergara – Quality Assurance Advisor, Dr. Jesús Pájaro García – Quality and Improvement Coordinator and his team of collaborators, who attended the entire process, with a view to obtaining satisfactory results.

Likewise, I would like to extend my most sincere congratulations to the Directorate of the School of Medicine in charge of Dr. Milena Hernández Siado, Dean in Charge of the Faculty of Health Sciences Dr. Natalia Lemos Calle, to the Academic Directorate Dr. Galo Lara Coronel, Planning Directorate Dr. Elías Bechara Arango Research Directorate Dr. Oscar Torres Yarzagaray, Outreach Directorate Dr. Celia Castillo Torres, University Welfare Directorate Dr. Elba Ceballos Hernández, Financial Directorate Dr. Eduardo Visbal Navarro, Relations Headquarters Dr. Ricardo Ballen Salinas, Administrative Directorate Dr. Sol Caucaly Rubio and other academic-administrative structures that have made it possible for us to stand before you today, showing the Institutional quality that we have, and all the work that we have carried out over the years on this path of education.

To the entire university community, teachers, students, administrators, congratulations with gratitude to all, without you it would not have been possible”.
