Five students from the SIUS Research Group of the Industrial Engineering program of the Universidad del Sinú, Cartagena Section, were recognized at the I International Training Research Meeting, carried out by the Logistics, Maritime and Port Research Network (REDINLOG).

With the projects “Mimprovement in the manufacturing process of the tail shaft in the company SERVITEC LTDA under the Lean Manufacturing approach" Y "Business plan based on the management of household solid waste in locality 2 of the city of Cartagena using the CANVAS model and reverse logistics”, the students Leidy Jassir, María Fernanda Quintero, Cesar Cotta Valdelamar, Jeanina Maza Herrera and Laura Martínez were awarded second place in the logistics and administrative management categories.

During the course of the first international meeting, a total of 17 projects from higher education institutions from Ecuador, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Argentina and Colombia participated. For the School of Industrial Engineering and the Institution it is a pride to receive this type of recognition in an international event, which enhances the quality of the program and the projection of its training and missionary component.
