Formación de tecnólogos en el campo del diseño y producción de la moda identificando su medio, sus avances, necesidades, tendencias sociales, culturales y el contexto profesional - laboral a nivel nacional e internacional.

Promover la práctica empresarial y social, que fortalezca el vínculo entre la universidad, el programa, el estudiante y el entorno social. Formar tecnólogos creativos, líderes y participativos, con la capacidad de enfrentar y resolver los desafíos de su medio y entorno y con las herramientas necesarias que le permitan seguir aprendiendo a lo largo de su vida.

Potenciar las capacidades competitivas del tecnólogo en Producción y Creación de Moda, ofreciéndole herramientas conceptuales, procedimentales y actitudinales que le permita desenvolverse en cualquier ámbito de la profesión desde la concepción de la creatividad, diseño y la moda.

Abrir espacios de participación en el campo de la moda, de los estudiantes en muestras, congresos y exposiciones nacionales e internacionales, como estímulo de desarrollo creativo del ámbito académico.

El Diseño de modas, es el arte de la creación de prendas de vestir y accesorios influenciados por líneas culturales y sociales llevando una coherencia de tiempo y espacio, ambos aspectos reflejan gran importancia para la identidad cultural y el desarrollo de la industria de la moda. Por tal razón, el diseño de modas para la Universidad del Sinú seccional Cartagena, se enmarca en el contexto de las artes y el diseño, como elemento esencial para gestionar elementos de experimentación, investigación, preservación y desarrollo de la industria de la moda y textil, no sólo resaltando los elementos culturales, sino también, enfatizando en elementos de innovación y tecnología para el desarrollo y sostenibilidad del sector.

El objeto social del programa Tecnología en Producción y Creación de Moda es darle al estudiante los conocimientos y competencias laborales necesarios propios del ámbito de la industria de la moda para tener una proyección a nivel de emprendimiento e innovación desarrollando proyectos de moda sostenible que respondan a las necesidades del mercado, generando la creación de nuevas empresas y empleos principalmente a nivel local y regional.

El tecnólogo en Producción y Creación de Moda, está en capacidad de aportar al desarrollo económico, social y cultural, mediante una visión creativa e innovadora tanto a nivel local, regional y nacional e ir acorde con las tendencias actuales de la moda a nivel global; la innovación, el mejoramiento de productos, la tecnología y el emprendimiento serán el motor para la generación de nuevas empresas y aporte a la economía y la empleabilidad como fuente de ingresos para el desarrollo sostenible.

Se desempeñará en el área profesional como diseñador, Jefe de diseño, coordinador de diseño, manejo de programas de patronaje, escalado y diseño.

Se desempeñará en el área industrial, en departamentos de diseño, de proyecto y promoción, como Jefe de control de calidad y supervisor de procesos de confección.

Gestor de su propia empresa productiva.

Representar, diseñar y producir colecciones con significado, funcionalidad, impacto visual y comercial.

Promover la cultura ambiental para tener mejores condiciones de vida.}

If you obtained a Bachelor's degree abroad; must be validated before the Ministry of National Education of Colombia in the City of Bogotá, and if he presented state exams equivalent to the Tests KNOW 11°(previously called ICFES tests) outside the country, you must present them in Colombia or carry out their respective validation before the ICFES in the city of Bogotá before completing your enrollment process in any of the Undergraduate programs offered by the Universidad del Sinú Seccional Cartagena.
