To comprehensively train professionals in Physiotherapy, in the study and management of human body movement, applying their knowledge to improve the quality of life of people and the development of the community in general; acting with leadership capacity, ethical and moral values, critical and creative spirit for social well-being; thus contributing to creating a free, cultured and just society.
The physiotherapist, a graduate of the University of Sinú, will be able to:
- To base their actions on scientific knowledge and evidence that supports their actions.
- To generate processes of self-construction of knowledge through study and formative research.
- Develop an ethical and social sense in every intervention.
- To know, evaluate and interact with the local and national epidemiological reality.
- Understanding the rehabilitation process in the country and in general and intersectoral activities.

- To know and understand the social security processes.
- To value prevention and health promotion as key elements in their physiotherapy work.
- To value education in human body movement as a fundamental pillar of the individual, the family and society.

The Physiotherapist graduating from the University of Sinú will be able to work as:
- Manager in health service provider units, companies, educational and sports centers.
- Physiotherapy professional as part of the interdisciplinary team in local health systems, involved in disciplinary intervention processes and work, recovering deficiencies and functional limitations of people with disabilities, participating in the habilitation and comprehensive rehabilitation processes of individuals.
- Member of research projects, aimed at generating new knowledge for the construction of techniques and procedures that provide alternatives within the disciplinary field or in related fields.
- Coordinator of health promotion and disease prevention programs or projects in health service provider units, in schools and special populations such as the elderly, pregnant women and people with disabilities
- Advisor to insurance companies in the area of occupational health, identifying and preventing risk factors as well as directing ergonomic processes within companies.
- Participant in the design and formulation of public health policies.
- Trainer of colleagues in the management of academic programs.

If you obtained a Bachelor's degree abroad; must be validated before the Ministry of National Education of Colombia in the City of Bogotá, and if he presented state exams equivalent to the Tests KNOW 11°(previously called ICFES tests) outside the country, you must present them in Colombia or carry out their respective validation before the ICFES in the city of Bogotá before completing your enrollment process in any of the Undergraduate programs offered by the Universidad del Sinú Seccional Cartagena.

Admitted students who have paid the total value of the tuition and decide to withdraw from the university, must inform the corresponding school address in writing, complying with the procedures established by the Registrar's Office within the first 15 business days of starting the academic activities and will be entitled to a refund of the 70% of the value paid for registration; After this date, the student may withdraw and request the cancellation of the semester before the Dean, but will respond to the financial commitment acquired with the University of Sinú.
