The Specialization in Clinical Neurology at the University of Sinú, Elías Bechara Zainúm – Cartagena Section, is a contribution to the solution of coverage and quality problems in postgraduate education in the department of Bolívar and the country. The opening of the Specialization makes it easier for general practitioners, including graduates of the undergraduate Medicine program at the University of Sinú Elías Bechara Zainúm, to acquire diagnostic techniques, surgical skills and learn about rehabilitation alternatives to treat pathologies typical of the Clinical Neurology. Thus, our University seeks to contribute to the improvement of the health situation in the region.

It is recommended to register for only one (1) academic program of specialization, so that the entrance exam for all registered programs must be taken within the time frame established by the University. In the event of registering for more than one program, there will be no right to a refund.

  • Registration form duly completed, signed and with the photos affixed in the corresponding box.
  • Proof of payment for registration fee.
  • Photocopy of the Graduation Certificate and Diploma.
  • Resolution of having completed the mandatory social service or certificate of exemption.
  • Saber Pro Test Results (ECAES).*
  • Photocopy of the enlarged ID card 150%.*
  • 3 photos 3x4, in black and white (glued in the boxes of the registration form.)

REGISTRATION AND ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR FOREIGN APPLICANTS

  • Registration form: Completed
  • Proof of payment: For registration fees.
  • University degree: Undergraduate degree (professional career) apostilled by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the entity in charge of the country of origin, or sealed by the Consul of Colombia, apostilled or with the Hague apostille.
  • Academic notes: Undergraduate grade certificate and its weighting scale.
  • Resume: Updated and verifiable supporting documents
  • Language: If the mother tongue is not Spanish, you must demonstrate proficiency in the language, a level of Spanish proficiency of B1 or B2 (upper-intermediate) certification according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)
  • Specific requirements: Depending on the postgraduate program, an interview may be required.

REQUIREMENTS FOR CANDIDATES SELECTED FOR INTERVIEW

  • Resume (with verifiable attachments).
  • Original undergraduate academic transcripts, including internship year grades.
  • Certificate of Cumulative Credit Average for the entire degree (Including Internship).

SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR ENROLLMENT

  • Photocopy of the cancelled registration receipt.
  • Vaccination Certificate (Hepatitis B, Tetanus and Meningococcus).
  • Current affiliation to the SGSSS.

ENROLLMENT REQUIREMENTS FOR FOREIGNERS

  • Once admitted to the program, you must submit the following documents to formalize your enrollment:
  • Identity document: Copy of passport.
  • Visa: Copy of the Visa (must allow higher education activities in Colombia) and of the Foreigner's ID Card.
  • Health insurance: Health insurance policy with full coverage globally or in Colombia for the entire duration of your studies
Important Note! Documents issued in a language other than Spanish must have an official translation.

    • Interviewer Table Concept: 5%
    • Literacy Tests and Psychometric Tests: 5%
  • Admissions Committee: 30%

The Admissions Committee will receive the results and analyze them along with the resume, reaching a consensus to define those admitted.
