La Especialización en Segmento Anterior y Córnea de la Corporación Universidad del Sinú Elías Bechara Zainúm Seccional Cartagena, tiene como objetivo principal formar profesionales capacitados para desempeñarse de manera independiente o en relación de dependencia en la atención de pacientes con patologías oftalmológicas que comprometen el segmento anterior del ojo, así como integrarse a equipos interdisciplinarios en oftalmología para dar respuesta a casos complejos o con múltiples afectaciones.

  • El aspirante, al momento de inscribirse, debe verificar que cuenta con toda la documentación solicitada. Tenga en cuenta que el examen de admisión se realiza en una sola franja de tiempo; por ello, se recomienda inscribirse en un (1) solo programa académico de especialización, a fin de poder presentar el examen dentro del tiempo dispuesto por la Universidad. En caso de inscribirse en más de un programa, no habrá derecho a devolución de dinero por este concepto.

  • Print the registration slip and pay the corresponding amount at the indicated bank or through the platform, before the expiration date.
  • Verifique que los documentos aportados correspondan a los solicitados en los requisitos de inscripción.
  • Suba a la plataforma los documentos requeridos, ingresando al formulario de inscripción, paso No. 5. Si presenta alguna dificultad, escriba al correo: mercadeoposgrado@unisinucartagena.edu.co
  • Si sus documentos cumplen con los requisitos de inscripción, recibirá notificación de aprobado; en caso contrario, recibirá notificación de rechazado y podrá, dentro de las fechas establecidas, subsanar lo requerido.

Important: To ensure a successful registration, verifique que la documentación esté completa antes de finalizar el proceso. Una vez que el período de inscripciones haya finalizado, no podrá cargar documentos adicionales en la plataforma. Es fundamental subir todos los documentos requeridos antes de la fecha de cierre, ya que posteriormente no será posible agregar ni modificar información.

  • Proof of payment for registration fee.
  • Fotocopia del acta de grado y del diploma de Especialista en Oftalmología de una Institución de Educación Superior aprobada por el MEN.
  • Registro Único Nacional del Talento Humano en Salud (RETHUS) para los títulos de medicina y oftalmología.
  • 3 fotos 3x3, en blanco y negro (pegadas en los recuadros del formulario de inscripción).
  • Fotocopia de la cédula ampliada a 150%.
  • Hoja de vida con sus respectivos soportes relacionados en ella.

REGISTRATION AND ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR FOREIGN APPLICANTS

  • Registration form: Completed
  • Proof of payment: For registration fees.
  • University degree: Undergraduate degree (professional career) apostilled by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the entity in charge of the country of origin, or sealed by the Consul of Colombia, apostilled or with the Hague apostille.
  • Academic notes: Undergraduate grade certificate and its weighting scale.
  • Resume: Updated and verifiable supporting documents
  • Language: If the mother tongue is not Spanish, you must demonstrate proficiency in the language, a level of Spanish proficiency of B1 or B2 (upper-intermediate) certification according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)
  • Specific requirements: Depending on the postgraduate program, an interview may be required.

REQUIREMENTS FOR CANDIDATES SELECTED FOR INTERVIEW

Los aspirantes seleccionados a entrevistas deberán enviar resultados de los siguientes exámenes:
  • Campimetría, Agudeza visual sin corrección y con ella, estereopsis, examen de discriminación de colores y Motricidad fina.
IMPORTANTE: El costo de estos exámenes será asumido por los seleccionados a Entrevistas.

SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR ENROLLMENT

  • Photocopy of the cancelled registration receipt.
  • Vaccination Certificate (Hepatitis B, Tetanus and Meningococcus).
  • Current affiliation to the SGSSS.

ENROLLMENT REQUIREMENTS FOR FOREIGNERS

  • Once admitted to the program, you must submit the following documents to formalize your enrollment:
  • Identity document: Copy of passport.
  • Visa: Copy of the Visa (must allow higher education activities in Colombia) and of the Foreigner's ID Card.
  • Health insurance: Health insurance policy with full coverage globally or in Colombia for the entire duration of your studies
Important Note! Documents issued in a language other than Spanish must have an official translation.

    • Literacy Tests and Psychometric Tests: 5%
  • Admissions Committee: 30%

The Admissions Committee will receive the results and analyze them along with the resume, reaching a consensus to define those admitted.
