  • Train professionals in the area of health and psychosocial intervention on care for the victim population

The psychosocial intervention models are based on the recognition of the various situations that affect the subject recognized as a victim; as for the situations that refer to the violation of rights in a specific situation, as well as the corresponding processes and articulated to the restitution of the same.

The victim is recognized as the subject who, given an accidental or contextual situation, has been affected either physically, emotionally and/or socially in its entirety; understanding in turn the different levels of affectation; Therefore, they correspond and are recognized within the regulations as rights of the person.

In this sense, this course aims to make an approach to understanding and recognizing the condition of the victim, their characteristics, needs and support routes. Starting from the framework of legal regulations for the state of Colombia.

In this sense, the most present problems in the direct and contextual realities of the country referred to violence are retaken, under three guiding topics (gender, sexual, intrafamily) and the violation of rights in said situations; not decisively associated with a social condition.

Starting from the framework of regulations, the contextualization of the problem and understanding of the phenomenon in human behavior, establish the routes of attention, support and direction in these situations.

Taking into account the contextual reality of Colombia, as a country historically marked by violence; It is essential that professionals from the various areas know the regulations and treatment of situations that refer to the violation of rights; from a framework of the nature of the problem; which refers to a broader view of the determinant of a social or minority condition.

The psychosocial intervention on the victim is a process that refers to the study of the various dimensions that affect the integrity of the subject or family nucleus; as well as the understanding of the affectation at a psychological level and possible consequences in the activation of the protocols and/or support routes in reference to the situations experienced.

In this sense, it is vital for the health and psychosocial intervention professional to recognize the roles and responsibilities that must take place at the time of working with these populations, because due process in the reparation and restitution of rights depends on it. .

In this sense, three of the most incidental problems in the Colombian context are addressed; taking into account the impact and historicity associated with various socio-economic contexts and/or minority status; in order to provide a comprehensive vision of the intervention in which, based on the recognition of the individual function, due attention and follow-up to the constitutional protocols in reparation are guaranteed.
