We are a unit dependent on the Rector's Office of the Cartagena branch, made up of a group of six people highly committed to quality excellence; we lead, support and advise the processes of self-evaluation, accreditation, renewal of qualified registration, reaccreditation and in general all the processes inherent to the assurance of institutional quality, in accordance with what is established in the PEI, the Ministry of National Education, the Ministry of Health and the guidelines given by the National Accreditation Council, within the framework of the Institutional Development Plan.

The Quality Assurance Office of the University of Sinú – Cartagena Branch leads, supports and advises the quality assurance processes within each of the programs and the institution in general, such as: self-evaluation, obtaining and renewal of qualified registration, accreditation, reaccreditation and monitoring of improvement plans, seeking with this the continuous improvement and consolidation of quality excellence.

To be a permanent support and assistance department in the implementation of policies, processes and procedures pertaining to the Internal System of Institutional Quality Assurance, in accordance with the provisions of the PEI, the Ministry of National Education, the Ministry of Health and the guidelines given by the National Accreditation Council and international accrediting agencies, seeking international accreditation of some of the academic programs before the year 2030.
