El programa en Tecnología en Procesos Agroindustriales de la Universidad del Sinú. Está enfocado en formar tecnólogos con principios éticos con un alto sentido de responsabilidad y con capacidad para liderar procesos aplicados a la transformación de las materias primas de origen biológico, contribuyendo a promover el desarrollo de la agroindustria alimentaria como la no alimentaria y la integración de las cadenas productivas a nivel departamental y nacional.
La formación del tecnólogo en procesos agroindustriales, está orientada a desarrollar competencias, habilidades, y destrezas para solucionar problemas de la producción, transformación y comercialización. Especialmente a pequeña escala, teniendo en cuenta las condiciones económicas de la sociedad y el mercado actual. Esto implica la capacidad de organizar a los diferentes grupos de productores agropecuarios para optimizar el valor y la capacidad de las cadenas productivas locales.
El proceso formativo diseñado para el programa de Tecnología en Procesos Agroindustriales, de la Universidad del Sinú – Seccional Cartagena, está enfocado en los principios institucionales basando toda su estructura en un modelo donde el egresado disponga de fundamentos y conocimiento científico bajo principios de equidad y justicia.
El programa Tecnología en Procesos Agroindustriales busca aportar al estudiante los mejores elementos de la disciplina en lo referente a teorías, conceptos, metodologías, herramientas, técnicas, tecnología, investigación e innovación en el campo de agroindustria puesto que goza de un alto potencial en diferentes campos donde puede poner en práctica los conceptos aprendidos durante su proceso formativo.
Formar Tecnólogos íntegros e innovadores, identificados con la problemática y necesidades del contexto generando soluciones que integren la gestión, coordinación y ejecución de los procesos y comercialización de productos y servicios de la agroindustria alimentaria y no alimentaria, con el fin de promover el desarrollo sostenible.
El Programa de Tecnología en Procesos Agroindustriales en el 2025 será reconocido, dentro de sus homólogos a nivel regional, por sus logros, acciones y proyectos orientados al fortalecimiento y consolidación de las relaciones academia – sociedad con el objetivo de generar soluciones innovadoras de alto impacto social, regional y nacional.
El Tecnólogo en Procesos Agroindustriales de la Universidad del Sinú Elías Bechara Zainúm, es un profesional con principios de autonomía e integralidad, éticamente orientado, con capacidad para la gestión, producción, transformación, aprovechamiento y comercialización de productos y servicios de la agroindustria alimentaria y no alimentaria, con el fin de promover y participar en la integración y desarrollo sostenible del sector a nivel regional y nacional. Es capaz de solucionar los problemas asociados a los procesos de producción agroindustrial, organizar y manejar recursos al interior de una planta agroindustrial, emprender proyectos productivos innovadores dentro del sector agroindustrial y manejar eficientemente grupos y promover el desarrollo de actitudes éticas y sociales al interior de su entorno laboral.

The student:
The student of the Technology in Agroindustrial Processes program must possess elements of a personal nature to reach his academic goal; These elements will be expressed in:- Strengthen knowledge in the field of natural sciences and mathematics, based on the analysis of problem situations, applying processes of categorization, synthesis, classification, interpretation and argumentation.
- Acquire and develop abilities and skills in the management of cutting-edge tools, technologies, methodologies, and models associated with the discipline for their application in solving problems in the real context of the agri-food field.
- Develop strategies to increase the personal and professional heritage of students and future graduates, through self-motivation for learning throughout professional life.

If you obtained a Bachelor's degree abroad; must be validated before the Ministry of National Education of Colombia in the City of Bogotá, and if he presented state exams equivalent to the Tests KNOW 11°(previously called ICFES tests) outside the country, you must present them in Colombia or carry out their respective validation before the ICFES in the city of Bogotá before completing your enrollment process in any of the Undergraduate programs offered by the Universidad del Sinú Seccional Cartagena.

Admitted students who have paid the total value of the tuition and decide to withdraw from the university, must inform the corresponding school address in writing, complying with the procedures established by the Registrar's Office within the first 15 business days of starting the academic activities and will be entitled to a refund of the 70% of the value paid for registration; After this date, the student may withdraw and request the cancellation of the semester before the Dean, but will respond to the financial commitment acquired with the University of Sinú.
