The University of Sinú, Cartagena section, with its School of Optometry and the Social Projection program, and in alliance with Charity Vision, carried out an eye health brigade in the district of Tierra Bomba, located in the insular zone of the city. More than 600 children were attended by students in their last semesters and teachers of the Optometry program.

During the brigade, the children's visual acuity was assessed, in the same way they were given a perception test, assessment of the patient's motor status and the refraction and ophthalmoscopy processes were carried out.

Both entities will continue to carry out these types of activities in all sectors of the city in search of providing quality visual health to the children of the stone corral.
