The University of Sinú, Cartagena section, held the discussion: "Festival de la Cumbia, Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria", which was held in the auditorium of the Plaza Colón headquarters.

The talk was developed with the premise of promoting and rescuing the traditions of the city, in order to strengthen cultural knowledge in the Unisinuana community and transform the educational model applied in the institutions, regarding the celebrations that generate culture in Cartagena. In addition, the importance of preserving the festivities and celebrations that have transcended through the years in Cartagena families from generation to generation was strengthened and made known to the general public.

The Folklore Association ASOFOLCLOR, the Institute of Heritage and Culture of Cartagena IPCC and the Brotherhood of Our Lady of La Candelaria, who led this talk, invited the students and administrative staff of our institution to be an active part of such important celebrations. , ancestral and historical, such as the Fiestas de la Virgen de la Candelaria.
