After the emergency caused by Hurricane Iota in the Islands of San Andrés, Providencia and Santa Catalina, the University of Sinú, Elías Bechara Zainúm, Cartagena Section, through the management of the Welfare Department, delivered humanitarian bonds to 30 students residents of the archipelago. These bonuses were delivered through the company Inpescar, which owns the SuperTodo stores in San Andrés, for a value of $200.00 thousand pesos, so that our students receive help to mitigate this emergency.

Yeris Córdoba, a student at the institution, commented: "I want to thank the university for the financial help it gave us students who were in the San Andres Islands, and who went through a difficult situation due to the hurricane."
