Graduates and students of the School of Dentistry of the Universidad del Sinú, Cartagena section, held an oral conference on February 5 in the township of Sincerín, municipality of Arjona Bolívar, where they gave talks to mothers and were valued around 60 boys and girls in oral health issues.

With the aim of promoting the knowledge acquired in the area of oral care, the students, through talks and playful samples, taught the community various dental care techniques and good oral hygiene habits.

The Director of Social Projection and Extension of the University of Sinú, Dr. oscar puche He pointed out “this projection activity not only impacts the community through preventive talks on oral health, but also integrates our community of graduates and students with the aim of human and social development for the population.”

At the end of the day, the attendees received oral care kits, which greatly guarantee the application of the knowledge offered by the students to the community.
