It is a space that seeks to generate strategies for the development of the international dimension and academic quality of the University community of the University of Sinú Elías Bechara Zainúm Cartagena Branch through the organization of institutional events
GLOBAL VILLAGE
Global Village is a multicultural fair that introduces all attendees to the customs, music, languages and gastronomy of different countries around the world.
Organized by the International Relations department, with the support of the Academic Units, foreign students who are at the University of Sinú – Cartagena Section and volunteers from other universities or foundations in this same city.
OBJECTIVE
Encourage the Unisinuana population how beautiful and interesting it is to know other cultures. With the aim that students, teachers and administrators are interested in traveling and studying abroad.
METHODOLOGY
Exchange students, language assistants, and the International Relations Office strive semester after semester to bring a little bit of the outside world to Unisinú.

MODELS OF NATIONS
UNITED (MUN)
The Model United Nations (MUN) seeks to create and develop in young people the idea that the best way to resolve conflicts is through dialogue, allowing them to acquire a broader and more global vision of the world they live in and the need for commitment to the problems that our society presents.
This event, organized by the University of Sinú Elías Bechara Zainúm – Cartagena Branch since 2014, involves students from different universities and secondary education institutes at the local, regional and national levels.
INTERNATIONAL WEEK
Internationalization at home is a common strategy among Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) interested in presenting topics to their community through an academic and cultural program featuring a guest country. It is a city-wide event that aims to establish itself year after year as an initiative connecting higher education institutions with the rest of the world.
OBJECTIVE
To bring together the community of the different organizing and allied higher education institutions, as well as the citizens of Cartagena interested in learning about the social, academic, cultural and, in general, characteristics of a country, without physically traveling there.
BACKGROUND
International Week has become a key platform for connecting academia and its communities with the world. In the city, this event has been organized by higher education institutions, which, thanks to their efforts, have succeeded over the years in bringing their academic communities closer to diverse cultures and countries. This endeavor reflects the institutions' commitment to promoting internationalization at home and enriching the educational experience of their students, faculty, and staff through cultural and academic exchange.
