The Postgraduate Course in Gynecology and Obstetrics at the Universidad del Sinú, Elías Bechara Zainúm-Cartagena Section, was born as a private initiative that aims to respond to the needs for coverage and quality in education in the region and as an expression of the Institution's commitment to the comprehensive training of Gynecologists, who are able to interpret the changes in the contemporary world, participate in academic debate and promote the development and improvement of the reproductive health situation of Colombian society, especially women.
Likewise, the graduates of this specialization are trained to be competent in the design of research work, which will allow the consolidation of the lines of research, the understanding of reproductive health problems and the proposal of solutions to the most frequent problems. in this field.
The Specialization in Gynecology and Obstetrics is a contribution of the University of Sinú Elías Bechara Zainúm to the health solution of the Department of Bolívar and the country; the opening of the program facilitates general practitioners, including Elías Bechara Zainúm, graduates of the undergraduate Medicine program at the University of Sinú, access to the Specialization in Gynecology and Obstetrics and contributes, through its impact, to the improvement of the situation of reproductive health in the region.

- Undergraduate degree or its equivalent that accredits you as a professional must be validated by the Ministry of National Education of Colombia. All documents that are not in Spanish must be translated.
