MISSION
The Business Development Office at the University of Sinú, Cartagena Campus, is dedicated to fostering an entrepreneurial culture and innovative spirit among members of the university community and the wider public. We provide them with the tools, training, and support they need to transform their ideas into successful business ventures. Our mission is rooted in a commitment to driving the region's economic and social development by promoting entrepreneurship and fostering innovative solutions within established businesses.
VISION
Our vision is to be recognized as a regional leader in supporting entrepreneurship and business innovation, contributing to the region's sustainable growth and developing leading entrepreneurs capable of generating a positive impact on their communities and the business environment. We aspire to be an organization that inspires, promotes creativity, and provides strategic resources for developing innovative ideas that drive economic and social progress.
In line with our mission and vision, during the management period various initiatives and activities have been carried out aimed at fostering the entrepreneurial spirit and the culture of innovation in the university community and companies.
MANAGEMENT
At the University of Sinú, Cartagena Campus, the Business Development Office has played a fundamental role in strengthening the region's entrepreneurial and business ecosystem. Through our initiatives, we have impacted more than 200 entrepreneurs and 50 companies, providing them with key tools and strategies to boost their growth, consolidate their business models, and drive innovation in their sectors. Our work has focused on capacity building, enabling entrepreneurs and business owners to acquire essential knowledge and skills in management, leadership, digital transformation, and marketing strategies. Through training programs, personalized consulting, and networking opportunities, we have facilitated connections between innovative ideas and real market opportunities. Furthermore, we have promoted social transformation through projects that not only strengthen the business fabric but also generate a positive impact on communities. From incubating socially focused startups to implementing initiatives that foster employment and sustainable entrepreneurship, our commitment is to build an environment where innovation and inclusion go hand in hand.
INNOVATION
Another of our pillars has been the introduction of new services and products to the market, working in synergy with established companies and emerging entrepreneurs to design development strategies, validate value propositions, and access new business opportunities. This collaborative approach has allowed us to forge strategic alliances with key players in the productive sector, promoting co-creation and knowledge transfer between academia and industry, such as SENA (National Learning Service), the Cartagena Chamber of Commerce, international universities, clusters, and international associations like PMI, the Global Entrepreneurial Network, and IEEE.
At the Business Development Department of the University of Sinú, Cartagena Campus, we remain committed to the growth of the entrepreneurial ecosystem, providing tools that allow entrepreneurs to face the challenges of the current market and take full advantage of opportunities for transformation and innovation.
