The Specialist in Maternal Perinatal Nursing will be able to provide nursing care to the pregnant woman, the woman in labor, the postpartum woman and the perinato, using evidence-based nursing, developing activities to promote and maintain health, providing care and follow-up to recovery and involving family social support.

Likewise, to employ managerial, management and teamwork skills to direct programs, projects and services that aim to promote maternal-perinatal health and prevent the main health problems that affect this population group, all with an ethical and humanistic sense.

Once the academic program is completed, the student is able to opt for the respective degree through the Legal Act called DEGREE.

• Having completed and passed all valid subjects and modules required by the respective program.
• Having obtained a total weighted average of no less than three point five (3.5).
• Cancel the graduation fees required by the University, pro-culture stamp, photocopy of Identity Documents enlarged to 150% and be up to date with all concepts, with the University.
• Not to be involved in a disciplinary process or to be serving a serious sanction.
• Having completed the practical work and application required by the program.
• Comply with all the specific requirements of each program in addition to the general, mandatory requirements, which must be made known in a timely manner.

• Official transcript of grades for your entire undergraduate degree. (Not applicable if you are a graduate of our University).
• Photocopy of ID card enlarged to 150%.
• Resume with supporting documents. (Additional academic training and
  work experience).

* Coterminal programs give undergraduate students at our university the opportunity to complete the first semester of a postgraduate program, whether a specialization or a master's degree, while finishing their undergraduate studies, fulfilling the graduation requirement to obtain their professional title and simultaneously advancing their postgraduate studies.

REGISTRATION AND ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR FOREIGN APPLICANTS

• University degree: Undergraduate degree (professional career) apostilled by the
  Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the relevant entity in the country of origin, or
  sealed by the Consul of Colombia, apostilled or with an apostille from The Hague.
• Academic grades: Undergraduate transcript and grading scale
  weighing.
• Resume: Updated and verifiable supporting documents
• Language: If your native language is not Spanish, you must demonstrate proficiency in the
  language, a B1 or B2 level of Spanish proficiency (upper-intermediate) certification
  according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)
• Specific requirements: Depending on the postgraduate program, an interview may be required.
