Meet our teaching staff
The Specialization in International Financial Accounting at the University of Sinú, Elías Bechara Zainúm, Cartagena Campus, will train experts in the recognition and measurement of financial statement elements, as well as the analysis of financial information prepared under these standards, to contribute to solving problems related to the financial position, activity, and cash flow of companies of any kind. The specialist must be recognized for their professional competence, comprehensive training, ethics, and social responsibility.
Once the academic program is completed, the student is able to opt for the respective degree through the Legal Act called DEGREE.
- Having completed and passed all valid subjects and modules required by the respective program.
- Having obtained a total weighted average of no less than three point five (3.5).
- Cancel the graduation fees required by the University, pro-culture stamp, photocopy of Identity Documents enlarged to 150% and be up to date with all concepts, with the University.
- Not to be involved in a disciplinary process or to be serving a serious sanction.
- Having completed the practical work and application required by the program.
- Comply with all the specific requirements of each program in addition to the general, mandatory requirements, which must be made known in a timely manner.

* Coterminal programs give undergraduate students at our university the opportunity to complete the first semester of a postgraduate program, whether a specialization or a master's degree, while finishing their undergraduate studies, fulfilling the graduation requirement to obtain their professional title and simultaneously advancing their postgraduate studies.

- Language: If your native language is not Spanish, you must demonstrate proficiency in the
language, a B1 or B2 level of Spanish proficiency (upper-intermediate) certification
according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) - Specific requirements: Depending on the postgraduate program, an interview may be required.

The Specialist in International Financial Accounting can work in both private and public companies in the areas of accounting, auditing, financial consulting, and other activities related to the specialization, performing the functions of: – Financial Accountant or Accounting Manager – Statutory Auditor – Advisor and Consultant in Financial Accounting – Internal or External Auditor of Financial Information
The degree work for specializations is individual and aims to systematize and apply the skills accumulated in a topic of interest in the area of specialization.
All final degree projects for Postgraduate programs must comply with the rules and guidelines set out in the protocol for degree projects.
Everything related to the intellectual property of the original results obtained by the student in their final work or thesis must be in accordance with the provisions of national and international laws and the statutes of the University.
No student may receive a degree while under disciplinary probation or with outstanding financial obligations to the Institution.
