Day of Attention to the Migrant Population
At the Plaza Colón headquarters of the Universidad del Sinú Elías Bechara Zainúm, Cartagena Section, through the area of Social Projection and the schools of Optometry, Pediatrics, Dentistry and Nutrition, a day of attention to the migrant population was held in alliance with the Sepamive Foundation, medical services were provided to 100 migrant children in the city.
From each school they were given medications, oral kits and a general review by our students and teachers from each area with the aim of improving the health conditions of each beneficiary and thus being able to contribute a grain of sand in these prevention sessions. .
Yosin Chihinos, Beneficiary commented: “Today they made an appointment here at the University of Sinú with my two children, they have treated me very well, very cool attention, they have been very attentive to each of the areas of medicine for children, both optometry, dentistry, pediatrics and nutrition. It has been a perfect day for me and my children and thank you very much for the attention you are giving us”.
These are the values pursued by the Universidad del Sinú, in a collective construction, through different scenarios of citizen participation, carrying a message of inclusion favoring the most unprotected and needy classes.
