The training purposes of the program are:
- Train Technologists in Construction Management capable of interpreting reality, with a high sense of abstraction and modeling capacity.
- Train technologists capable of managing resources in civil construction projects and models associated with the discipline to enhance and strengthen their interventions and production in organizations.
- Train technologists who interpret and then materialize fundamental aspects of design, development, appropriation, adaptation and innovation in the development of civil constructions. Optimizing resources, applying good practices and standards to provide solutions in organizational and project contexts.
- Promote in the student their ethical, humanistic qualities and their investigative spirit. Strengthen critical thinking and their interest in putting their knowledge at the service of society.
The Technologist in Construction Management from the University of Sinú Elías Bechara Zainúm will stand out for his comprehensive training, his strengths in the administrative areas of engineering projects. It will be a Technologist with abilities, skills and competencies for the administration of construction works in the public and private sectors.
Upon completion of their training at the Universidad del Sinú Elías Bechara Zainúm, and within the framework of our educational model, the graduate of the Technology in Construction Management program will be able to:
- Manage development processes in various areas of civil construction.
- Supervise engineering works.
- Support in the management of infrastructure and construction projects
- Verify in the field different types of engineering drawings.
- Work independently or as part of a group of professionals, performing administrative roles.

The student:
- It will strengthen your skills to assist the engineer in the generation of models from the collection of data from problematic situations.
- You will acquire and develop abilities and skills to support the correct use of resources in civil construction projects.
- Being manager of administrative activities based on current regulations, to obtain construction permits and licenses.
- You will develop the necessary skills that allow you to be sufficient in the field of action related to the development and assistance in the areas of Geotechnics and management of human and physical resources works.
- Manage human and physical resources required for the construction of civil works.
- Plan and advise technical aspects of the construction process.
- Manage, direct and execute small infrastructure works
- Scheduling of works and preparation of budgets based on designs made by Engineers.
