From the area of Basic Health Sciences and Postgraduate Studies of the University of Sinú, Cartagena section, the Symposium on Updating Basic Sciences Applied to Clinical Specializations was held in its tenth version, with the aim of integrating science in clinical application with various topics and updates in this field. 

The students, teachers and residents enjoyed a day full of knowledge, where the speakers covered topics in the areas of immunology, genetics, molecular biology and infectious diseases. At the same time, the first-year residents made the presentation and evaluation of posters with clinical cases. 

As an institution we highlight the generation of these spaces for dissemination and appropriation of knowledge throughout our academic community.
