Unisinú Performs For The First Time The Oral Evaluation Of Neuroanatomy And Neurology
At the Santillana headquarters of the University of Sinú Elías Bechara Zainúm, Cartagena Section, the oral evaluation of neuroanatomy skills was carried out for the first time for first-year students and for second, third and fourth-year residents of the Chair of Neurology. where they were randomly chosen as a pilot plan by the coordination of the Specialty in charge of the Dr. Edgard Castillo Tamara to take this exam, in order to assess their skills and knowledge acquired throughout their academic period.
The jurors who were in charge of the evaluation were: Dr. Ignacio Casas Parera, author of the Book Manual of Neurology, adjunct professor of the Faculty of Medicine University of Buenos Aires, Dr. Rafael Peñarete Nader, Neurologist at the Somer Rionegro clinic, Dr. Luis Fernandez Yepes, a clinical neurologist from Neuro Sabanas, the latter a graduate of our postgraduate course, who were in charge of evaluating the processes and being able to issue an opinion on how our students are being prepared in each of the specialties.
Dr. Ignacio Casas Parera, adjunct professor at the University of Buenos Aires School of Medicine, commented: "This evaluation process in the career of neurology specialists is extremely important at the moment that we are going through the pandemic to be able to evaluate the skills of the different doctors."
