The School Director of the Nutrition and Dietetics Program, Dr. Olga Tatiana Jaimes Prada, was appointed President of the Colombian Association of Faculties of Nutrition and Dietetics (ACOFANUD), a non-profit organization that develops and supports the academic programs of Nutrition and Dietetics at the national level, in order to strengthen the quality of the teaching-learning processes.

“This achievement is a very important recognition and pride as a professional and that directly also involves the Universidad del Sinú. We are going to work to strengthen, from our experience, the pedagogical models that allow us to train more and more professionals.

In addition to the Presidency, the University of Sinú also contributed for the period in question, the positions of Secretary with Paulette Sivera and Treasurer with Maritza Díaz Rincón, who together will work hand in hand so that our University has greater visibility at the national level.

With the leadership of our professionals, ACOFANUD is preparing to develop projects that allow us to ensure the quality of the 14 Nutrition programs attached to it, thus attending to the main aspects such as education, research, extension and social projection.
