Within the framework of the celebration of Teacher's Day 2021, the University of Sinú, Cartagena Section, pays tribute to its entire teaching staff, praising their great work, effort and dedication in training professionals with the highest quality in education, which characterizes us as an institution in the different areas of knowledge.

Then, the act of recognition and exaltation was carried out for the members of the academic community of our institution, where distinctions were given to teachers linked to the university for 20, 15, 10 and 5 years of services dedicated to the praiseworthy and noble work of teacher trainers, of men and women at the service of society.

Likewise, the University wanted to exalt the teachers who stood out in the institution in life for their ability to work, dynamism and strengthening of the academy, research, social projection and extension, internationalization and university well-being. Students were also recognized for their high performance in the Saber Pro and TyT 2021 state tests, leaving the name of the institution high.

In this great event, it had the pleasant presence in the auditorium of our rector Rolando Castilla Bechara and professional artists from Carmen de Bolívar, who grew up in the training school of teacher Lucho Bermúdez, conducting a discussion on Colombian folklore.

Finally, a cultural sample of the traditional Montemarian cuisine was held with the support of the School of Gastronomy in tasting of chepacorinas and traditional sweets from Carmen de Bolívar, this great event also ended with a tasting of traditional and artisanal wines from the north coast.
