UNISINÚ OFFICIALLY OPENING THE GASTRONOMY PROGRAM.
At the Santillana headquarters of the Universidad del Sinú, Elías Bechara Zainúm Cartagena section, the official presentation of the professional Gastronomy program was held. For the event there was Hebert Eljach, executive chef of Casa San Agustín and the Alma restaurant, who prepared a typical recipe from the Colombian Caribbean.
Director of the Gastronomy program Carmen Gavira Vilora, Together with the special guest, they told the attendees their experiences, techniques, advice and good tools to achieve a delicious dish when entering the kitchen, highlighting that the most important thing is to explore creativity and the desire to learn. The dish to be shown was called “Ceviche UniSinuano”, prepared with fresh fish and shrimp in mango sauce, with a spicy touch, using products from our traditional cuisine.
