{"id":38854,"date":"2019-06-15T10:26:34","date_gmt":"2019-06-15T15:26:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.unisinucartagena.edu.co\/?p=38854"},"modified":"2019-06-15T10:26:34","modified_gmt":"2019-06-15T15:26:34","slug":"unisinu-monteria-recibe-acreditacion-institucional","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/unisinucartagena.edu.co\/en\/2019\/06\/15\/unisinu-monteria-recibe-acreditacion-institucional\/","title":{"rendered":"UNISIN\u00da \u2013 Monter\u00eda receives Institutional Accreditation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>The National Government, through the Ministry of Education, granted high quality institutional accreditation to the University of Sin\u00fa \u2013 El\u00edas Bechara Zain\u00fam, \u2013 Headquarters, Monter\u00eda for a period of 4 years; as expressed in resolution number 0006197 of June 13, 2019.<\/em><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Today, after 45 years of being founded and only 15 years after having obtained the character of a university, the main headquarters of the\u00a0<strong>University of Sin\u00fa \u2013 El\u00edas Bechara Zain\u00fam<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 achieves the most precious award that is granted in Colombia to a Higher Education Institution: Institutional Accreditation, public recognition that fills us with healthy pride and forces us to triple our efforts to continue advancing with passion, patience and love on the path of excellence, in the light of an evident continuous improvement, so that \u201cthis flame does not go out\u201d.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">This is an important achievement on the way to<strong>\u00a0the excellence that the University of Sin\u00fa goes through day by day and that permeates each and every one of the actions that take place in the Alma Mater<\/strong>, an institutionally acquired commitment that results in the benefit of our students, of our region, of our country.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Accreditation is the act by which the State adopts and makes public the acknowledgment that academic peers make of the verification they carry out on the quality of their academic programs, their organization and operation, and the fulfillment of their social function.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Is<strong>\u00a0accreditation<\/strong>\u00a0guarantees that the training processes that are developed within the Institution are of high quality, thus placing the University of Sin\u00fa \u2013 Monter\u00eda Headquarters, among the select group of high-quality accredited institutions in the country.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">In order to grant high institutional quality accreditation to the Universidad del Sin\u00fa \u2013 Monter\u00eda Headquarters, a complex process was carried out that involved the entire academic community of the Institution, as well as strategic allies, graduates and various interest groups; The activities to achieve institutional accreditation began several years ago and matured, accumulating achievements and experience until achieving the accreditation that we share today with the entire country.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">The Ministry of Education took into account to grant the High Quality Accreditation to Unisin\u00fa - Monter\u00eda, several aspects, as stated in resolution number 0006197 of June 13, 2019; Among these are highlighted:<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><strong>-The tradition<\/strong>\u00a0of the Universidad del Sin\u00fa \u2013 El\u00edas Bechara Zain\u00fam, which dates back to 1974 when it was created as the Higher Educational Corporation of C\u00f3rdoba and then, from 2004, as a University. It is committed to the comprehensive education of its students and for this it created the Unisin\u00fa School of Arts in 1998. Additionally, in its commitment to the region, it carries out social impact projects and is present in various municipalities of the Department.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">-The institution has a\u00a0<strong>Clearly Defined Mission and known by the university community<\/strong>a. The vision projects institutional development until the year 2024, which, together with the 2016-2020 Development Plan, the product of collaborative work, sets the guidelines and strategies through the approach of three strategic axes: a) growth with innovation and impact b) academic and human excellence c) sustainability platform}, which is executed through programs, projects, lines of action and strategic indicators to measure compliance.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">-The\u00a0<strong>Educative offer<\/strong>\u00a0of the University that includes 35 academic programs distributed in 18 undergraduate and 17 postgraduate programs.
